Re: [vdr] beta test: e-tobi's vdr packages for Ubuntu

2008-06-25 Thread Hanno Zulla
Hi,

with lots of help from Tobias Grimm, the e-tobi multipatch packages now
compile cleanly for Ubuntu. You can find a description and a first batch
 of binaries here:

the three flavours of e-tobi vdr (standard, multipatch and extensions)
now available for i386 and amd64:

Test reports welcome.

Regards,

Hanno

[vdr] [ANNOUNCE] vdr-webvideo 0.0.1

2008-06-25 Thread Antti Ajanki
I'm glad to announce a new plugin called Webvideo.

The Webvideo plugin allows downloading video files from video sharing
websites, such as YouTube or Google Video, to your hard disk using the
VDR menu interface. This plugin only downloads videos, a separate
program is needed to play them.

The plugin is available at http://users.tkk.fi/~aajanki/vdr/webvideo

Enjoy,

Antti
