Hi, all.
I've already made a few remarks over this problem on
dvbn.happysat.orgforums. I've been able to reproduce the problem on
several channels
and satellites (Astra 19, Hotbird 13, Eurobird 9 and Hispasat 30). At the
time I've last tested it, it happened with all this combinations:

- vdr 1.7.0 + xine lib 1.2 + xine - log is as described above

- vdr 1.7.0 + xine lib 1.2 + xineliboutput - application exits with seg
fault the instant you start it (same problem, do)

- vdr1.7.0 + xine lib 1.2 + softdevice - log is as described above

AFAIK, it seems something on vdr or ffmpeg side. As you wrote on another
mail, stream played directly works ok.

Stay cool.

Re: [vdr] fedora 9 vdr-1.6.0 - int no audio on channel change

This list is really quiet these days!! Has everyone gone on holiday or
something??

Can someone tell me how to turn on debugging in xine, so I can see what
happens when I change channels? I'm trying to find out why intermittantly
when I switch channels the audio does not start. If I switch channels
again, or restart xine, the audio starts.

Thanks

Simon

[vdr] channels.conf

2008-09-09 Thread David Hláčik
Hello,

can someone please be so kind and sent me how to create channels.conf
for vdr 1.6.0 ?

I am using scandvb -o vdr /usr/share/dvb-apps/dvb-s/Hotbird-13.0E >
channels.conf

but it does not work!

Looking to channels.conf i can see that "PARAMETER" value is missing

What am i doing wrong? :(

So far i am using channels.conf founded on the internet, and it works with them.

Thanks!

David

[vdr] CAM efficiency under vdr-1.x.x (x=> 1.4.7)

2008-09-09 Thread Pierre-Yves Paranthoën
Hi guys,

I was in touch over the ML with Klaus for that problem a few weeks ago.
I know the weather was really nice for outdoor activites :-) , but i
still have the same pb with my valid subscription card under version of
vdr > 1.4.7
since this version the recognition of the card is really really
unstable. Randomly once each 10 times.

My setup is a full futured Hauppauge dvb-ttpci av7110 card working with
ASTRA 19.2E (canalsat).

Best regards

Pierre
