Use this one:

Hi Thomas!

This sounds interesting! Never heard about this before.. Is there any
way to check which plugins might block the device, or do I just have to
start by disabling all, and going through each plugin one-by one?

yes, this is the best way to find it. Just start with no plugin.. when
it is possible to grab the image, than one of your plugins block the
device. (this is also what I did for a while:

Is this correct? Why isn't NASA in this list? And why are the (null)'s
there?

the list looks good.. the position from the null are the field for the
provider name. And the (null) means that this channel send not a
provider information

Have a look at http://linuxtv.org/vdrwiki/index.php/Syntax_of_channels.conf

Why the NASA channel it not in the list?! I don´t now. Have you used a
correct initial-tuning-data-file? Or have the channel no channel
information (no name at the list)

Have you try´t to zap all the channels...?

[vdr] Diablo CAM and VDR 1.4.7: unknown session id: 0

2007-08-19 Thread Thomas Creutz
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA1

Hi!

I have a problem with my Diablo CAM Modul. When I try to open the CAM
Menu, vdr say, it open the
menu. After ~ 3 sec. nothing is open and I can press OK and the
channel info are displayed.

In the logfile I found this:

Aug 19 18:06:22 vdr vdr: [13306] warning: CAM-Menü wird geöffnet...
Aug 19 18:06:22 vdr vdr: [13622] too many different colors used in palette

Aug 19 18:06:25 vdr vdr: [13306] ERROR: can't create session for
resource identifier: 00400041
Aug 19 18:06:26 vdr vdr: [13306] ERROR: unknown session id: 0

I searched in the sources and found where the messages was produced,
but i dont know how i can
debug this:

i think, the first "unknown sessin id" message comes from

bool cCiHandler::Process(int Slot)

the "can't create session for resource identifier" is triggert in

bool cCiHandler::OpenSession(int Length, const uint8_t *Data)

and the last "unknown sessin id" message is (i think) from

bool cCiHandler::CloseSession(uint16_t SessionId)

Can someone help me?

sorry, with the menuorg plugin, you can´t organize channels. It is
only for creating Sub-Menus and drop in the Plugin and System
Menuitems in it.

For organize your channels.conf you can use a channel-editor programm.
http://www.vdr-wiki.de/wiki/index.php/Channeleditoren

Or you use the good autosort plugin, but the configuration is tricky
http://www.vdr-wiki.de/wiki/index.php/Autosort-plugin

But, when you *need* the prefered channels in your MainMenu, your can
create a command menu item with menuorg like this:

But i think, this is not what you mean?!
