Wasn't really impressed with the screenshots I saw. None were as good as that Reel skin imo. ___ vdr mailing list vdr@linuxtv.org http://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/vdr

Nope, but no interest in using Xbox for that either. But would gladly use that Reel skin with VDR! ___ vdr mailing list vdr@linuxtv.org http://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/vdr

I've wondered the same thing myself. I really like that skin. Along with the new support for hdtv and so on, it would be nice if the osd finally got a nice overhaul. VDR would be unstoppable! :) ___ vdr mailing list vdr@linuxtv.org http://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/vdr

I always thought it would be cool if VDR was able to pull a poster/cover and IMDB summary of movies but I doubt we'd see that in vdr core. A plugin maybe. I'd think a cache somewhere would be far more effecient then using epg.data for that though. ___ vdr mailing list vdr@linuxtv.org http://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/vdr

I can't imagine why you would want to mix movies and epg data together. The size of that file would grow tremendously which I assume would have nothing but adverse affects. I don't really see the point of pictures either. Can you elaborate on what purpose this would serve? ___ vdr mailing list vdr@linuxtv.org http://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/vdr
Re: [vdr] [ANNOUNCE] VDR developer version 1.7.4
Have VDR-1.7.4 up and running with nexus-s so far. And plenty of timers set so recording & playback testing will be extensive. :) ___ vdr mailing list vdr@linuxtv.org http://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/vdr

Many remote controls even have a special button for that. You can return to the previous channel by pressing 0. I don't know that the faster channel change time (if it even would be faster) would be worth the effort. My channel changes are 1-2 seconds. Sure I wish it was instant but I think I'll live. I usually change the channel manually or using the guide. Don't remember ever doing sequential changes but I guess someone out there does. :) ___ vdr mailing list vdr@linuxtv.org http://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/vdr
