Yes, it shows the actual allocated disk and volume space under diskpart
but it doesn't show on my computer.

Hello Experts,

I have an NBU 6.5.5 Master server win 2003 std for one of the client
server windows 2008 having SAN disk presented of 500 GB partition space
it has NBU 6.5.4 client this was done initially now when I am extending
the disk space to 1 TB it appears on disk management it shows the new
allocated space on both volume and disk but it doesn't show on my
computer we tried with the storage support guys and microsoft support
nothing worked. I presume the disk spaced is locked by NBU which is not
allowing the partition to extend. Does any one came across this issue.

Thanks,
Mohammed Ahmed

Could you also take a look into this document...

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/832316 See if it assists? Specifically,
the extend file system if a reboot does not solve.

mixed setup with one windows and one unix master both on 6.5.5, we are going to
be moving to a single master server with possibly 4-6 media servers backing up
to VTL dxi's, weekly backups are hitting 100TB with daily cumulative during the
week, if we are using server 2008 R2 would someone be able to advise levels of
processor and ram required for good performance, any questions at all please do

Hi,

This will involve license cost for NetBackup for VMware and also an
additional license for the Windows media server (to act as the NetBackup
proxy server).

With Warm Regards
