NBU 6.5.3/Image Cleanup processes fail with Status 47, the same error 
occurs when attempting the following command:
 #nbdelete -allvolumes -force.

Also, used the bpsyncinfo -L command and the output was not correct for 
the Media servers configured.

 All,
When installing NBU 6.5 on the identified master server, if you do not 
identify a media server, will NBU  default the master server as the 
media server?

All,

Is it possible to configure one UNIX server to be the master and media 
server in NBU 6.5?
Customer has a SUN T5220 server and wants to backup to a SL24 library.
The customer wants to config the T5220 as the master and media server. 
(they do not want to purchase an media server).
Netback 6.5
Solaris 10

[Veritas-bu] Netbackup 8X errors

Question regarding Netbackup 8X errors.

Is it acceptable to get 8X errors?

Is there an  acceptable number before we should start to get concerned?

We had a high number of 8X errors and resolved most of them. (the bulk 
was from a bad tape drive).
Now when we come across any 8X errors we would do a long erase on the 
media and put it back into the scratch pool.
This has corrected some of the 8X errors as well but not all of them.

Anyone have any other Ideas or suggestions on this issue?
