Hi All, Kindly Help me in providing the Best Backup Solution for Windows2008 server in Netbackup. I have 2 Windows2008 servers which are NAS boxes along with P4500 and hence NDMP is not applicable here, so the NAS will have to go as LAN, what is the best approach to design Policy with that W2008, ie., the best way for backing up. [Veritas-bu] Error: 52 for SAN Media Servers
Hi, Recently we have been facing lots of error: 52 in our environment,backups failing on Virtual tape. For some servers physical tape backup is running fine and only virtual tape backup is failing with error 52 This includes both Unix and Windows Servers which are SAN Media. [Veritas-bu] Deleting a tape entry from Netbackup
Hi All, Can anyone help me out in the below issue? There was a tape which was stuck in one of the drives, the tape was removed from the robot by hand and so i need to update the netbackup as NB still thinks that the tape is there in the Robot, but the tape is actually taken out and so need to loaded again, once the entry has been deleted, then tehtape can be loaded without issues. I cannot delete the tape from NB console as it gives an error: Cannot delete assigned volume (92). Is there any command i need to use so i can delete the tape from the ACSLS server.
