Hi I included the email address in bp.conf file and also in hostproperties--> server --> universal settings--> send server mail and also in backup_exit script Still i am not receving any mail. Pls help us to solve this problem. because two weeks backup i am able to receive the mail. i am able to send mail manually from my Netbackup server using mailx command. Hi, Past two week i dont receive any mail alert from Netbackup server. I have checked all these options, still i am facing issue. Pls provide the solution ASAP i am receving mail using mailx commond from netbackup server to my mail box..once the backup job completed in netbackup server, i dont find the mail alert ( ie sucessufull or unsuccessful ) status to my mail box. I have included the e-mail address in host properties-> Master-->Universal setting--> and also in hostproperties--> master-> universal settings. Hi, We have netbackup server 6.0 with mp5 installed in 3 servers( 2 servers are solaris10 and 1 server is Linux RHEL4 update 5) in different location. All the servers act as Seperate Master and media server, Now we are planning to migrate Linux server as master only and other 2 solaris server must act as media server. We have 3 tire license in Linux platform & 2 tire license in Solaris server for netbackup software. Does hetrogenous unix platform support our requirement. Hi ALL, We have 2 LTO3 standlone Tape drive connected via SCSI cable in Sunfire-V890 server and same configured via Netbackup 6.0 MP5. From previous week onwards, LTO3 tape drive are capable of writing only 400GB, it's not exceeding more than 400GB. Compression enabled in policy also. Pls provide solution ASAP. We tested the same in New tape ( HP Ultrium LTO3) also, but still its writing only 400 GB and throwing an error requesting any new media Eailer 700 GB were able to write the data in HP LTO3 drive No changes made in configuration file also, so pls provide solution ASAP. I have created a exclude_list.policyname and also include_list.poilcyname in all the clients under the directory /usr/openv/netbackup/ and also added respective entry, but it is not excluding the filesystem which is mentioned in exclude_list.policyname. Hi I succesfuly pushed the patch from master server to solaris server. but for other unix flavour i am unable to push from the master server. There is no option to select as hp-ux= b11.11, rs6000 -aix while creating policy. Is there any way to add the hardware type. . The hardware type listed in my pc has only solaris, window, NDMP, IA64. HI I have two master server, one is in offshore with tape library and another master server in onsite with standalone drive connected. I have send the tape to onsite to restore the data in their master server , and catalog has been uploaded to thier server from the dbimages directory.
