Also, since this is NBU6/MP4, I would consider before recreating the policy to verify that all jobs are done (no suspended or waiting jobs), stop NBU, move the 'pempersist' file aside', restart NBU. pempersist will be recreated. Sometimes holds incorrect information that causes schedules to be run incorrectly. Of course, I wouldn't let the fact that Veritas has put this statement Note: A policy can contain more than one schedule. Symantec recommends, however, that calendar-based and frequency-based schedule types are not mixed within the same policy. Under some conditions, schedule types that are combined in one policy can cause unexpected results. in every NetBackup Administrator's Guide since calendar-based schedules were introduced, deter me, either. No-siree, and even if I remembered that somebody with calendar and frequency scheds in the same policy comes up with a problem just like this every year, well, I'd ignore that, too. Happy to be proven wrong, is it worth creating a new policy for this, in case there is something that has become corrupt within the existing policy? Its just an after thought really. Hi, For 2 weeks running i have had 1 policy which hasn't run a weekly full backup. It submits the parent job but sits there looking for a stream but eventually fails with a 200 schedule found no backups due to run. I have checked the policy and first thing is that the daily incrementals and the monthly full run ok...so nothing wrong with the policy. Within the schedule itself it is set as calendar and as far as i can see identical to all of the other policies with the weekly full backup. Any ideas anyone?
