[Veritas-bu] Unable to get the local EMM server for the

2007-02-02 Thread ankur kumar

can you go to -
1)HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE - SOFTWARE - VERITAS - Netbackup
- Current Version - Config
edit the SERVER key : the first entry should be your
master server name.
2) restart the services

I hope this works

Hi all,

By mistake on our Master Server properties, i have set as primary master

On master server the following sereral services fail to start:

  1. NetBackup Database Manager
  2. NetBackup Device Manager
  3. NetBackup Job Manager
  4. NetBackup Policy Execution Manager
  5. NetBackup Request Manager
  6. NetBackup Service Layer

And on Windows event viewer i get the following errors:

Also when i execute:

i get the following error:

NBEMMCMD, Version:6.0MP4(20061102)

Is there any way i can reverse this wrong configuration?
