[Veritas-bu] nbemmcmd -deletehost
I am running into an issue when using the nbemmcmd -deletehost command to remove a host. This is what I have been getting. NBEMMCMD, Version:6.0MP2(20060307) The function returned the following failure status: invalid host name (136) Command did not complete successfully. Has anyone had this problem, and what was done to resolve this. Thanks, Daryl Kinnaird Systems Administrator Associate ___ Veritas-bu maillist - Veritas-bu@mailman.eng.auburn.edu http://mailman.eng.auburn.edu/mailman/listinfo/veritas-bu

Have you tried the short hostname instead of the FQDN? On Thu, 22 Feb 2007, Kinnaird, Daryl wrote: I am running into an issue when using the nbemmcmd -deletehost command to remove a host.
