It was as I feared a registry key that is the problem

I got this from SGMON

I have tried to change 
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VERITAS\Backup Exec\Server\DataPartitionGUID

to the number in the SGMON log without success

I get this in the application event log:
