It was as I feared a registry key that is the problem

I got this from SGMON
beserver: [3120] 03/22/07 12:47:00 -1 Initializing Persistent Store (AU01SN004
\BkupExec, BEDB, Backup Exec Server, 30 seconds)...
beserver: [3120] 03/22/07 12:47:00 -1 Attemp to GetMyPartition
ComputerName=AU01SN004 PartitionID=0 PartitionGUID=245ad92c-1a70-421f-af36-
838a4177942b
beserver: [3120] 03/22/07 12:47:00 -1 InitializePartition() Data partition ID
from registry=0
beserver: [3120] 03/22/07 12:47:00 -1 SQLLog(1):Database Exception Context:
{CALL DBO.GETMYPARTITION(?,?,?,?,?)} Error:-536837662: :: -2147217900:Delete
failed because the object being deleted no longer exists in database. :: DB
Error Set 0: native=0x61040001 source=Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL
Server hr=0x80040e14 Delete failed because the object being deleted no longer
exists in database.

I have tried to change
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VERITAS\Backup Exec\Server\DataPartitionGUID

to the number in the SGMON log without success
