Hi Ed I completely agree. All of my robots are using the official Tape Drivers, and as you said, they dont do it for x64 either. Like you , have been using the official ones since 2005 and its never caused an issue. Hi everyone, Back in the early days of 3.x of NetBackup, there was always a requirement to use the Veritas Approved Drivers for NetBackup. With 6.0 and onwards, is this still a real requirment? I have been going ahead and using the latest HP / IBM Vendor drivers where required, and to date, have never had a problem. Just wanted to get an idea if there is a preference or is this now considered an "option" if you do not have the drivers available?
