Title: Message Tom You did not mention the environment you are in, however this may / may not be worth a look... http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/273288.htm Also, just in case, what if you re-configure the Catalogue again, using the Wizard, use a different set of tapes and re-try. A very long shot I know, but it might be worth a try, to rule the media out. DB sounds quite large - I am guessing you have alot of long retention periods / infinite / clients ?
