Okay all… I have a received a few “inquiries” on the new web site and most of what I’m getting isn’t good. I’ve also read through most of the entries here, and I’m also not getting warm fuzzies on the site.. So here’s what I would like to ask of you.. I have the ear of the folks in charge of the site.. If you can detail out your complaints and send them to me I will forward them off to the powers to be.. I’ve been ask to fill out “bug” reports for each of the complaints and if possible, include the email address of the person submitting. This way they can contact you to insure that we get things taken of in the proper manner.. Thanks… Ronald R. I would suppose that we should do something regarding the support site and not the product itself, although even this might be under consideration (Symantec people on the list: INFORM YOUR COMPANY) Anyway, maybe we should create a petition at http://www.petitiontime.com/ ? Any idea as what to write as a letter? I wasn't too fond of the old Veritas site, but the Symantec NetBackup site is way beyond functional. I have to agree, the last time that I tried to search a scenario on the website it took me at least 5 times as long to try and figure out where I needed to go to find what I was looking for. Definitely a turn in the wrong direction. I also don"t think that this is a training issue or something that I could do faster the next time.
