Hi, What I usually do is create a dummy policy to backup the boot.ini on the client. For THAT policy I create a bpstart_notigy script that runs the command to stop the db, run the backup using the bpbackup command with the -w option (dont forget to open a user schedule for the policy) After the backup ends, it starts the db again.
