Re: Deleted Some Folders & Now I Can't Commit :(

2009-10-23 Thread Quinn Taylor
Move the new folders with the same names out of the repository, then
update the working copy — Subversion should restore your deleted
folders. If you really want to delete them, do it from within Versions
(or svn) and commit before adding in the replacement directories. Or
just remove the specific contents and add the new ones and do it in a
single commit — it's easier to track and less complicated in the long
run.

Hope that helps,
 - Quinn

Also, I added some folders but they have the same name as the ones I
deleted.

For example "panels" (Drupal module) is a folder I deleted outside of
Versions, then downloaded the most recent version of panels from the
developer, hence the reason the new folder's name is the same.

Promotion and Re-basing...

2009-10-23 Thread bvelasquez

Hello,

I know these concepts are not in SVN. However, our company has a
policy of making large changes in a working branch, and then promoting
these changes to the trunk after a code review. In Versions, how do I
promote my working branch changes to the trunk? I know it's a merge,
but I do not clearly see how to select a working branch and merge it
with the trunk (or any other branch for that matter).

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Barry

Re: SVN Switch

2009-10-23 Thread WalleniuM

i'm in need of that feature, too.

please add svn switch and branch/tag to versions. i know that i can
override it by using drag & drop, but its not acceptable if your repos
are large (mine is 1gb and more... and i have a traffic limit.. ;))

Re: 1.0.6 Crashing Constantly

2009-10-23 Thread RTMFD

I'm seeing this crash as well - I've been seeing it during the 10.6
betas too. Seems that svn is attempting to fork at some point in the
libraries, which is a no-no in CoreFoundation (and therefore AppKit/
Foundation) land.
