Feature Request: Color Coding in transcript window

2012-05-08 Thread Colin
Hi,

I use Versions at work and the one, seemingly simple, thing that has
always bugged me is the lack of color coding on the SVN transcript.

Currently, all the svn action entries are listed in grey with the
program log entries listed in black.
I want to be able to scan this list at a glance and see whether there
are any conflicts and which files are affected.
The grey is simply not very readable, as it is too light.

I would suggest, at least, changing the font color of any conflicted
lines. A red or dark red would be perfect.

Beyond that, I would suggest changing the general font color from
light grey to a dark grey, if not black.
If it is deemed necessary that the program logs be distinct from the
general text, make them bold or some other color.

Ideally, the user should be able to configure these colors from the
preferences.
Other types of logs could also be color coded (such as Add, Delete,
etc...).

On Windows, I use TortoiseSVN. They have a really great color scheme
that Versions could learn from.

Thanks!

Transcript view no longer shows a transcript

2012-05-08 Thread Paul Hoadley
Hello,

I've recently been unable to get a transcript in the Transcript view,
all I see is:

---
Transcript log for repository "Foo" [svn+ssh:// ... ].
Subversion libraries version: 1.6.17
---

(Where "Foo" is a real repository name, and a real URL is shown.)
Unfortunately I can't pinpoint when this started happening. I'm using
Versions 1.1.10. Server is running Subversion 1.6.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

Re: Feature Request: Color Coding in transcript window

2012-05-08 Thread kbreton
There should definitely be a way to notice conflicts more easily.
The transcript color scheme make it really hard to see which file is in
conflict and there is no other way to find them.
I would like to have control over the colors but I could live with a good
static color scheme.

Thanks.

Re: Versions' FileMerge.sh needs updating for XCode 4.3

I don't get any instructions.
Where should this command be executed from? - I always get "Xcode:
command not found".

You need to run it in the Terminal.

If you still run into problems, let me know the full path of where Xcode is
installed on your computer.
