Re: Problems with Versions 1.0.4 over HTTP

2009-05-27 Thread Casper

Hi Dirk,

Thank you for your reply. We already fixed the problem, it was caused
by the domein who was pointing to the wrong IP address in our network.
We discovered it later, because it hapend just when we upgraded to
1.0.4. Also the error it gave was different when we used Subversion
1.4 locally or 1.5 or 1.6. It didn't produce the right error message
because the domain name pointed to another webserver, but without SVN.
So the '200' status code was a little bit strange.

Again thanks for your effort and I'm sorry for this topic.

Kind regards,

Casper

 Hi Casper,

I have no clue (yet) what might be causing this, but we'll try to
reproduce the problem over here right away.

If we need any more details regarding your setup, I'll let you know.

Since I don't know how long it will take us to reproduce and then fix
the problem, it might be best for you to revert to using Versions
 1.0.3 in the
 meanwhile:http://www.versionsapp.com/redirect/builds/Versions_1.0.3_56.zip

I'm really sorry for the inconvenience,

  Hi all,

We use Versions since it came out and it is a wonderful product. But
since we updated to 1.0.4 we can't use it anymore.

Each interaction with the subversion server (like update, commit or
even browsing) results in an error: OPTIONS of 'http://
  cas...@svn.ourserver.com/project': 200 OK (http://svn.ourserver.com)

This is with a local server over HTTP with Versions on 1.6.1 the
  library.

Does anyone know how we can solve this? Because we can't work at this
  moment. :)
