I'm still getting this Waiting for transactions to finish message
just about every time I quit Versions.

Tips or a fix would be very welcome.

There was a bunch of correspondence about this way back in 2008 and

Hi Joe,

Which version of Subversion are you using with Versions? We fixed up some of
this in Versions 1.2, and I've not yet seen this issue again since then. This
is the first I hear of this problem still existing since 1.2, so any
information you can provide that would help us reproduce this here so that we
can fix it would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Rick,

Thanks for your reply! I checked my Versions Preferences, and the
Subversion Library is set to 1.6.17. If there's other info I can send
- such as Console.app info that might be logged when this Waiting to
Finish window is appearing, please let me know.

This is probably [ot], but it makes me wonder - would doing something
silly like ping-ing or ssh-ing to the server cause /dev/random to

I'm using Versions 1.0.3 Build 56 on Leopard 10.5.6 and have this

It's very irritating!

Re: Waiting for transactions to finish

2008-11-17 Thread Beckley

There's something called SSHAskPassTool that quit unexpectedly when I
force-quit Versions 1.0. It's part of the Versions package. The log
says:

Application Specific Information:
*** Terminating app due to uncaught exception
'NSInvalidReceivePortException', reason: 'connection went invalid
while waiting for a reply'

So apparently Versions is failing to SSH to it's home server.
