[VFB] Re: florida weather

2009-04-23 Thread LESTER BELL
The June weather is warm with a reasonable chance of afternoon showers.
Fishing is generally good. Ft Myers is close to many saltwater fishing
locations; Boca Grande, Charlotte Harbor, Pine Island Sound, Englewood and the
Gasparilla Islands. Tarpon, Snook, Trout etc.

  Hi Gang

I am thinking of going to Fort Myers for a fishing trip in June but was not
sure what the weather is like that time of year.
dont want to go all the way from England if it is going to be wet all day ( I
can stay here for that )
Also what is the fishing like at that time ?

  Any help appreciated.

By June, we are usually in the hi 80's -low 90's F*And we will have
the usual afternoon thunder boomers. The cold fronts

are long gone.

The fishing is GREAT. One of the best times of the year. If you catch a
hill tide in June, it can be magic. The Tarpon and Snook will be on the

beaches. One of the 2-3 best months of the year.

If you do make, let me know what other advice you might want.
