Try and minnow pattern. Ex. Clouser minnow. It is a Copper Tinsel Chenille Bugger with a burnt orange marabou tail Gold bead head and a Fire orange thread collar behind the bead. Check FAOL, Tony Spezio flies or Chili Pepper. Jim Phillips uses a version of it in a Jig pattern that does real well.
