The root of the word is "love," an amateur is someone who does it for love. The Olympics used to be all-amateur, which implied high-integrity. We've been using the term in the blogosphere for at least five years. Further, the model that's being pushed as Web 2.0 is the core of the How To Make Money pieces I wrote in 2000 and 2001 ( http://tinyurl.com/8h3wd ) . There really are still some fresh ideas in those pieces, I wish more people would listen ( http://tinyurl.com/cnnlq ). It's not about nickel-and-dime ads. Really. I swear. Google is building on a shoddy foundation. Don't go down that path without taking a look at where the real money will be made.--- In videoblogging@yahoogroups.com, Verdi <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:>> The reporter was so excited to learn about videoblogging he just > signed up for our 5 week class that starts next Thursday. essentially, that is often the case with a mov files mp4 wrappers.but, you might consider taking advantage of the quicktime browser plugin if you are concerned about playback experience... you can do a popup window with the video embedded.
i know vb.info has tutorials and also you could try out http://joshkinberg.com/popupmaker/sull

[videoblogging] Lobby iTunes to make comments!

2005-11-11 Thread Brett Gaylor
Anyone with Apple's ear ought to push them towards creating an
interface within iTunes where users can leave comments. I've seen a
lot of my subscribers coming from iTunes, about 1/4, but there isn't
any way for them to interact with my or my site. It's kind of a
shame.

2005-11-11 Thread Bill Streeter
You can always add a title card to your videos that invites people
to the site to comment. I've been thinking of doing this, and I've
seen Crash Test Kitchen doing this too. It would be nice for Apple
to include this type of interaction into iTunes but I'm not holding
my breath for it. There are a lot of other issues that they would
need to address first.

Re: [videoblogging] why does an .mp4 ask to open up QuickTime

2005-11-11 Thread Steve Garfield
Hey everybody.

I just figured out a better way to do this.

From QuickTime Pro, you choose to export as a MOV, but hten click on
the options to use the MPEG-4 Compression type. This puts the mp4 file
in a mov wrapper. That keeps you from having problems playing the mp4
file type. More details on this later...

I should have thought about this soon.

It's such a simple solution.

Hope it helps others...

[videoblogging] Re: why does an .mp4 ask to open up QuickTime

2005-11-11 Thread Steve Watkins
Well the vast majority have been creating mpeg4 in a .mov file all
along, either because its what they knew, or because they wanted to
take advantage of things .mov can do that .mp4 cant, or because they
use 3ivx which only lets you save as .movs anyway.

If you already have .mp4 or .m4v files, you can save them as
self-contained .mov files in quicktime without it re-encoding the
audio or video.

If you want to do the opposite, and turn mpeg4 .movs into .mp4 files,
load the mov into quicktime, export to mpeg4 but select 'pass-throguh'
for both video & audio, to avoid reencoding.

I dont support this because I like the ability of PC users to watch
.mp4 files with software other than quicktime. But right now theres no
decent browser plugin for .mp4 other than quicktime anyway, and lots
of PC users dont ahve alternative .mp4 players right now. But as mpeg4
devices and software proliferate, the advantages of .mp4 rather than
.mov from a viewers point of view will increase, si I will return to
ranting about this issue when the balance becomes more compelling.

And finally, if you want to use h264 .movs and be ipod compatible, you
must export to .mp4 (with main unticked and baseline ticked) or .m4v
first using quicktime. Then load that file into quicktime and save as
a self-contained .mov. This ensures h264 idpod compatibility (if you
do h264 straight to mov in quicktime it will be main profile and thus
not ipod compatible). This factor only affects h264.

[videoblogging] Re: why does an .mp4 ask to open up QuickTime

2005-11-11 Thread Steve Watkins
To answer your original point, its definately vimeo's server mimetype
thats causing the behaviour. On a properly configured server the .mp4
will behave the same way as .mov when you click on it. Im using the
same browser & OS as you and .mp4s that are on other servers work fine.

Vimeo probably didnt notice themselves because their pages use code to
embed the file in quicktime player on the browser, rather than just a
direct link to the .mp4, and that is another workaround for the
problem you experienced.

My preiosu message had an error when I said 'I dont support this' - I
was referring to people using mpeg4 in a mov, I prefer .mp4, but am
willing to concede the reasons arent compelling enough for most yet.

[videoblogging] Re: who sends the most emails to this group?

2005-11-11 Thread Steve Watkins
Well thats an entirely understandable human reaction to people saying
that sort of thing. I do not support people making proclamations of
either what is worthy of talking about, or frequency of posts, and
this isnt just because I happen to talk a lot.

I mean clearly there is a limit, if I posted 50 messages every day
about everything and rambled loads more than I already do, of if I
went unhinged and had a long manic episode then someone would need to
step in and ask me to chill. But nobody has gone that silly so far,
and if there are a few cases then likely they got reprimanded because
of the contents of what they were saying which was also out of line,
not just the frequency of posting.

I truly hope you dont quit posting, it should be your choice whether
you post and everyone elses choice whether they read it or not.

I wave a finger of woe at those who would start making judgements on
what is deemed quality enough for other humans to post. Dont start me
off on that one, or I'll apply the same logic to the question of 'what
comments are worth leaving on someones blog' and remember the time I
saw Josh Leo post a comment for someone that asked how come his site
wasnt linked to in their sidebar.

Umm... that wasn't actually my question. I know it's MP4 (I used it

compression, or does it just give access to additional settings?

[videoblogging] Re: Compression techniques - file size ratios

2005-11-11 Thread Steve Watkins
3ivx has its own encoder, and indeed its own decoder. So whilst it can
be a quicktime plugin, it isnt making use of Apples own mpeg4
encoding/decoding routines.

Because it creates compliant mpeg4, other decoders can be used to play
it back, including appls Quicktime one.

With QT6 if you install 3ivx, it uses its own decoder for playing
mpeg4, and this was apparently a bit better than Apples, maybe a bit
faster. But there are reports that the 3ivx decoder doesnt work right
on QT7, or is disabled, Ive seen conflicting info.

Anyway the short answer was no, it doesnt just access additional
settings that effect encoding, it is an encoder in its own right. On
Windows you dont have to use it with quicktime at all.

There may be alot of noise here, but I'm not sure these statistics
necessarily speak to it. It may to some degree ... but I dont think
its fair to equate large number of posts = poor quality posts.

It may be considered by some:
large number of posts = large number of attempts to help / answer questions.

Unfortunately I doubt google lets you sort / count on actual noise. :-P

... I dont think I send too much 'noise' ...

hey gang, I am in no way saying that what Pete should stop posting, but
if he feels like he is posting things that don't matter then he shoud

Ok, I stopped posting. Of course now I'm going to start again...

I read through my recent posts, and I feel that they have been a good
mix of helpful information, responses & opinions, and occasionally
something that's more of a humorous comment on something. I can stop my
attempts at humorous responses if desired.

I did notice that I start very few threads. I tend to reply to things
other people have said. Honestly I don't have a lot of questions about
videoblogging right now, as I feel like I know what I'm doing to some
degree, and I rarely plug my own stuff (except in my sig) and tend to
point to other URLs I think will answer questions or provide information.

If the list mom wanted to throw me out of here, then I'd think much more
carefully about what I've posted... If it's just a matter of trying to
deal with your inbox, well, we all know that pain, so I guess the
choices are 'deal with it' or unsubscribe?

So are you saying an mpeg4 decoder can decode and playback .mov files
compressed with 3ivx? And does that explain why .mov files compressed
with 3ivx work on the iPod?

[videoblogging] Re: Compression techniques - file size ratios

2005-11-11 Thread Steve Watkins
Yes, thats it, thats exactly why most 3ivx files will play on the
ipod, because 3ivx is an encoder that creates standard mpeg4 video.

It is possible to create 3ivx files that wont play on the ipod,
because it is possible to create mpeg4 files that wont play on the
ipod (or eg if you use a audio format other than AAC), but most
peoples will work just fine.

This stuff ties in to why I cheer for .mp4 not .mov though. The ipod
only supports .mov because its also apple, wheras most mpeg4 devices
will want .mp4 files and the same is true of some software mpeg4
players, especially on the PC.

3ivx-encoded .movs are widely compatible, but 3ivx-encoded .mp4 files
are even more device/future-proof. .mov requires one specific company
to keep it alive, not so of .mp4.

What difference will we see between using an .mp4 versus an mpeg4 in a

QuickTime, I'm just after the playing while still download ('Fast

You lose this feature by using straight .mp4 files, right?

[videoblogging] Re: Compression techniques - file size ratios

2005-11-11 Thread Steve Watkins
You will notice almost no difference in filesize, maybe a few k, but
the audio and video are taking up the same space with either.

Fast start (progressive download) does work with mpeg4. For a while
some thought it didnt, but mostly it does. I appealed recently for
anybody who could remember how to make a mpeg4 that doesnt fast-start,
because all the ones Ive got do fast-start. This includes .m4v's made
by qt7.0.3 ipod export, though I prefer to rename them to .mp4 to
avoid having yet anothr mimetype issue to deal with.

Where fast-start certainly doesnt work is on Internet Explorer (Ive
only tried PC vversion). If you dont embed code to make the video to
launch with a specific player within the page (ie if you just link to
the video file directly), then you wont get a progressive download, IE
aits till the whole file has downloaded before quicktime appears in
the browser to play it. But this happens with both .mov's and .mp4's,
so Im drifting offtopic, but its probably the number one reason some
sites dont end up giving all their users a fast-start experience right
now.

[videoblogging] Re: Lobby iTunes to make comments!

That's right Bill, and the key thing is that the "card" is
clickable. Someone watching in iTunes or another aggregator can
actually click on the movie and it opens a browser window and takes
them to the corresponding post at the blog.

But this little treat of interactivity is only for people who use
the QuickTime (.mov) format.

If anyone wants to find out how to do likewise, I offer a starter
kit and lifetime support for a one-off price ... no, actually, just
e-mail me offlist and I'll run you through it.

I think this is huge. I'm sure we've all known that this is possible,
but as our videos start finding themselves on all kinds of weird
places because of RSS, I think we ought to really start making this a
fundamental part of the videoblogging process, as engrained as talking
a snapshot of the player a hotlink or remembering to put
rel="enclosure" into your anchor tags. I know it only works for
quicktime users, but if it becomes an ubiqutous practice, maybe other
formats will begin to pick up on it.

Re: [videoblogging] Approximating subscribers

2005-11-11 Thread Randolfe Wicker

I would like to know how many views a beginning
vlogger might get?  How many views would indicate a vlogger building
readership after 6 or 10 vlogs?

I know I view certain vlogs because I have come to
know and like other vlogs by that person.  I am rarely
disappointed.

I know vlogging regularly is important.
However, someone in the Blip TV chat room said "comments" were the best thing
for building traffic.

How important is it to be in the aggregators?
In how many?  In what order of importance?

Finally, I don't understand why I would get nearly
150 views for my latest vlog "Waging War on Death" and only one legit comment

Does anyone know how to approximate subscribers like Feedburner
does?I assume it counts each time a unique IP address accesses the
feed.Anyone know how to do that with a raw log file?I use AW
Stats, and there no way to determine who is accessing what from their
  interface. Thanks knowledgebase,Adam

[videoblogging] Re: Sony adding root kit spyware hacker tools to your computer (no joke!)

2005-11-11 Thread Steve Watkins
Yeah since the sony DRM dodgy PC software issue got discussed here,
things have gotte much worse for Sony, lots of bad press and now
several viruses that take advantage of the Sony stealth thing.
antvirus software is starting to pick the sony DRM stuff as being evil
and remove it.

Lawsuits against Sony over this issue have begun, in more than one
country if I read correctly.

I really see this instance as 2 seperate issues. Theres the issue over
the legitimacy of DRM stuff in general, obviously plenty of people
hate the idea of it.

Then there is the actual implementation, which Sony have messed up.
They chose a company whose technology was flawed and now they suffer
the bad press. I believe the company that actually made this such a
stinky one for Sony (by writing poor DRM code) are based in the UK,
Wales to be precise.

Anyway the fuss is only triggered and sustained because of this
implementation of DRM, not the concept of DRM. Itunes has DRM stuff
built into it, but it doesnt generate the same press because they have
got the balance between security and messing up your computer right.

[videoblogging] Single emails versus batch delivery?

2005-11-11 Thread Randolfe Wicker

I find I have to make certain choices in
life.  One of them involves how much time I want to spend reading this
list.  Before I got my computer and started vlogging, I was reading here
three to six hours daily, building my own reference files, following links and
learning quite a bit.

Then, I decided to take the "easy way out" and have
the emails delivered in batches.  However, I found that I would skip
opening batches even though I did find things of interest among the "noise" when
I did so.

Actually, I went back to getting individual emails
recently.  I find I read more--and read more selectively due to time
limitations.

There has been a lot of talk about who posts the
most.  I find that I know the posters I find valuable to read and the ones
which are generally not that useful.

Re: [videoblogging] Beyond spread firefox: Explorer Destroyer!

2005-11-11 Thread andrew michael baron
This is an interesting scenario. Its because Google is paying $1 for
every person you can get to install Firefox. Thats a pretty hefty sum
it seems:
http://explorerdestroyer.com/

Put a click thru on your site for Firefox, get a $1 for each install.

[videoblogging] Re: Lobby iTunes to make comments!

2005-11-11 Thread wazman_au
OK, well, here's how to do what I do. Create a document in a simple
text editor like Notepad. Paste in the following code (I don't
understand most of it but it works ... if you use it please choose a
different font and words for yourself ... come on, be a LITTLE BIT
ORIGINAL!!! ;-)

{QTtext}{font:Trebuchet MS}{plain}{size:24}{textColor: 65535, 65535,
65535}{backColor: 0, 0,
0}{justify:center}{timeScale:600}{width:320}{height:240}{timeStamps:absolute}{language:0}{textEncoding:0}
[00:00:00.000]
{textBox: 0, 0, 240, 320}
We want your feedback!
{HREF:}Please click here
to comment on this
video by visiting
www.crashtestkitchen.com{endHREF}
[00:00:05.000]

Replace the crashtestkitchen URL that's in the guts of all that with
where you want the viewer to go when they click (in our case the URL
leads to the relevant blog post and the anchor point for comments).
Then open QuickTime and either import or open this text document
depending on version. It will create a clickable frame that's 320x240
pixels. Of course you can alter the size to suit yourself. You can
simply do a Select All and copy this piece of video, then paste it
onto the beginning/end/wherever of your video. (The video must already
be compressed by the way. If you recompress you'll lose the clickability.)

Then you save the video as a self-contained movie. You should now have
your original vid with a clickable bit on it.

This is only scratching the surface of what you can do with these text
descriptors and other interactive QuickTime stuff. I understand
practically none of it but here's a URL:

http://www.apple.com/quicktime/tutorials/textdescriptors.html

Hope it helsp someone,

Waz

[videoblogging] Re: Playing vlog posts as "songs"

2005-11-11 Thread Steve Watkins
Ive totally failed to find an answer to this yet. Actually Ive failed
to find a video that doesnt play as a song on a latest gen ipod, but
Ive only tried dozens of different ones, not hundreds, so maybe I got
lucky (or unlucky as Imdesperately trying to get one to go wrong lol).

Susan you mentioned that one of RichardShow's didnt show up as a song,
but when I transfered the last 6 of richardshows videos from feed in
itunes, they all showed up on my ipod in the songs list. Could you
point me to a specific video that doesnt work?

Im not sure what Apple really intended as far as this behaviour goes.
Maybe they didnt actually mean for videos to show up in the songs list
at all. Maybe they meant for all vidoes to show up but its a bug that
prevents some working. Until I find one that doesnt work I cant learn
any more about this stuff.

[videoblogging] Re: New Emmy category includes content from vlogs

2005-11-11 Thread Steve Watkins
A lot of awards and press releases and stats in general are really
just part of the whole big marketing/adertising/promo game.

It gives the media some 'news' to talk about, and gets the marketing
message plenty of free coverage, but its not real.

It is this kind of stuff that MSM & the status quo and the big players
still have the big advantage in compared to individual content
creators, they dominate most of the methods by which the masses will
learn about what content exists out there. Same sort of thing that
causes some to grumble at what itunes top podcasts etc stats are
doing. I know in the UK a lot of the top podcasts int he stats are DJs
because millions of people already know of them from listening to the
radio.

Its for reasons like this that Im always happy when a non-MSM
videoblogger gets featured by mainstream media (news programs most
often so far) as has been witnessed on various occasions over the last
year. One day if the mainstream are also videoblogging, they could
pretend the independent videobloggers dont really exist :(

I wish there were a few ways for the small independents & individuals
to raise awareness of their existence using mass-media more. Id love a
TV channel that was promo's for all the videoblogs, podcasts, etc that
never get mainstream exposure. I read with interest that a free
channel slot is available on UK terrestrial digital TV, and that the
minimum asking price is £5.5 Million per year (thats about
$9.5Million). Well at that price my dream isnt very realistic, and Im
back to envying countries that have public-access TV, though I guess
they dont always have a 'mass' audience. What kind of audience sizes
do channels like the one Jay does a show on get?

Hmm so anyway I suppose the free publicity is the only reason I would
support videobloggers doing an awards thing of their own, I dont
believe the results mean anything, just gets attention. But I wouldnt
want to leave anyone out, so rather than a top 10 or top 100, Id
rather have a winner every day or something,a nd give absolutely
everyone a turn :D

dont use log files however.

Rather than parse log files, I wrote a few php functions that are
called each time the feed is acccessed.  It then writes (or
updates) a record of the request to the databse.  I have another
table of "rules" that the system checks these requests against to
determine how it should record/count the feed request.

You could do this with the raw logs though I would think ... so long as
you have a script that has read access to them.  I'd assume you'd
have to read each line in and break it apart with greps.

I like my setup so far because its light weight but really
flexible.  You'll probably want some logic other than just
IPs.  (I've found that sometimes IP doesnt matter at all,
sometimes its the only thing that really matters.)   Having
some table/list of rules lets you apply pretty good logic to whats
recorded and how it's counted; for example some user agents (such as
bloglines) include in their agent string the number of subscribers they
have for your feed.   If the user-agent is a known bot, I
dont care what it's IP address is - I set its ip to "Any" (so that it
will match future requests by this bot) and set subscriber count = 0.

I record all sorts of stuff for each request, but the main fields I use
for 'counting' are http-user-agent, ip-address, timestamp, subscriber
count.

I'm still tweaking my system, but I think it's fairly accurate.  I
have a link on my site (that only I can see) that I can click to get
all the details of all currently counted subscribers ... and when I go
over it 9 times out of 10 it all looks pretty good.  Once in a
while a new bot will pop up or something ... so I just go and adjust
the rules as needed to ensure it's appropriately taken care of.

... not sure if that helps or not ...

I believe the most obscure statistic that hasnt been mentioned, which is desirable, especially when one has multiple feeds, is an aggregate of the amount of actual video downloads against the number of xml page views against the number of html object views, something I would have to calculate by hand when I'm in the mood (never). The outcome equates with exactly how many people are downloading videos in an aggregator and how many people came to the web site to view the video during any given time integral.Where,x = total number of xml page viewsy = total number of html page views that contain embedded video objectsz = total number of actual video file downloads (with a like-sub-level of complexity in 'attempted/incomplete' file downloads).Any other ideas? My best estimates now rely on looking at the data visually for consistency over time and trying to gauge a raw percent.related notes:+Just because you have a subscriber, does not mean they used an aggregator to retrieve your videos today.+Text subscribers and video subscribers are different breeds - the text subscriber likely hits xml, html and video, where a local video aggregator may only hit xml and video while some incoming links are hot right to the video, with no html or xml.On Nov 11, 2005, at 8:00 PM, David Meade wrote: I created a system to track / estimate subscribers on my site.  I still consider it testing, but I think it works pretty good.  I dont use log files however. I have
a technical/asethetic question.
I am shooting video with a Cannon

the lens, etc. though this would spark creativity.

What I'm noticing with interviews is that the built-in mike sounds like
shit  ...
Any
suggestions?

Now,
if I were to take a slight step up in cameras - to get a better mike and to be
able to zoom -- what would you suggest that is still in the lower end?

Also,
along the same lines -- I'm using moviemaker and now that I have mastered it,
I'm feeling limited. What is the next step up - not too expensive -- but gives
me slight more features?  What about adobe preimere
ELEMENTS?

Re: [videoblogging] Approximating subscribers

2005-11-11 Thread David Meade

Good point andrew.

For some people, BlipTV can provide pretty good stats in this (although
I believe they are still fine tuning their stat system).  They
list total number of views with a breakout of user agent (itunes,
fireant, IE, Firefox, etc).

I know RB doesnt use blip ... I'm just sayin.

1) user-agent/ip in a subscriber estimation can give a ball park idea
of how many unique agrigators are hitting a feed a day (although each
hit may not be a download of a video file).
2) File access stats (such as BlipTV's video stats) can give a pretty
accurate count of how many times the file was accessed from what sort
of client.
3) website logs/stats can guage how often the embeded player is loaded on my site

with all of that ... I suppose I could - if I ever wanted a headache
:-P - go and compare actual downloads to hits on my site vs. hits in
aggregators vs hits on other sites  ... I don't think I myself
actually care ... but I can see how this would be valuable data for
some.

y = total number of html page views that contain embedded video objectsz = total number of actual video file downloads (with a like-sub-level of complexity in 'attempted/incomplete' file downloads).
Any
other ideas? My best estimates now rely on looking at the data visually
for consistency over time and trying to gauge a raw percent.related notes:+Just because you have a subscriber, does not mean they used an aggregator to retrieve your videos today.

subscribers and video subscribers are different breeds - the text
subscriber likely hits xml, html and video, where a local video
aggregator may only hit xml and video while some incoming links are hot

wrote a few php functions that are called each time the feed is
acccessed.  It then writes (or updates) a record of the request to
the databse.  I have another table of "rules" that the system
checks these requests against to determine how it should record/count
the feed request. You could do this with the raw logs though I
would think ... so long as you have a script that has read access to
them.  I'd assume you'd have to read each line in and break it
apart with greps. I like my setup so far because its light
weight but really flexible.  You'll probably want some logic other
than just IPs.  (I've found that sometimes IP doesnt matter at
all, sometimes its the only thing that really matters.)
Having some table/list of rules lets you apply pretty good logic to
whats recorded and how it's counted; for example some user agents (such
as bloglines) include in their agent string the number of subscribers
they have for your feed.   If the user-agent is a known bot,
I dont care what it's IP address is - I set its ip to "Any" (so that it
will match future requests by this bot) and set subscriber count = 0.
I record all sorts of stuff for each request, but the main fields I use
for 'counting' are http-user-agent, ip-address, timestamp, subscriber
count. I'm still tweaking my system, but I think it's fairly
accurate.  I have a link on my site (that only I can see) that I
can click to get all the details of all currently counted subscribers
... and when I go over it 9 times out of 10 it all looks pretty
good.  Once in a while a new bot will pop up or something ... so I
just go and adjust the rules as needed to ensure it's appropriately
taken care of.   ... not sure if that helps or not ... - Dave On 11/11/05, Adam Quirk <

But that doesnt work when go by IP addresses because the unique IP address count is too obscure. You may be pinging my xml page 12 times a day and only getting one video. Adam -

Just wanted to clear this up a bit; we aren't basing our stats on just
parsing IP addresses - as has been pointed out later in the thread,
that's not a particularly useful measure due to varying behavior of
some aggregators.

We monitor IP addresses, user agents, polling intervals, and a variety
of other details to evaluate what the total number of subscribers are
to your feed. Keep in mind that web-based aggregators (Yahoo,
Bloglines, Rojo, Newsgator Online, etc.) will poll a feed on behalf of
x subscribers, so knowing how many times the feed was polled is only
half the equation - you need to be able to parse the user count (often
passed through in the user agent field).

Hope this helps establish how we work; if you have any other
questions, feel free to drop me a line.

Regards,

Rick

Specifically referring to FeedBurner... their numbers aren't very
accurate. Some robots are viewed as people which can cause inflated
numbers. Also, there are a few ways to inflate your readership numbers.

It is absolutely essential to be in aggregators (directories) if you'd
like to increase viewers. I agree, comments are invaluable. Not only
are those people real viewers, but they take the time to offer feedback.

I'm not sure how to delete spam from Blogger, but many others use it
here and should be able to provide more insight.

I'm assuming that Blogger does not provide in depth stats, which is a
shame. The server stats offered by paid hosting services are
essential to making "marketing" decisions.

[videoblogging] Re: Approximating subscribers

2005-11-11 Thread LeanBackVids.com
Doh! My last post is out of context. I did not see all the replies
to this, specifically Rick's post.

For the record, FeedBurner is the best place to host feeds and
currently offers the best stats for comparing yourself to other FB users.

Still, there are a few robots that get counted as viewers. Assuming
others have the same robots counted as viewers would level out the
data making it reliable.

All I meant was that I do not take the exact number of readers and
associated that with unique humans.

To delete spam log into your Blogger account, then open your blog in a
new window. Click on comments and you will see a little trash can on
