I think checking out the show would be the way to go before bashing it

anything derogatory.

It's actually a cool show in my opinion.

[videoblogging] Re: You can ask to have your Revver Videos removed from Zango's site

2007-08-27 Thread bestdamntechshow
Tim,

This particular site, Zango, requires visitors to download software to
view the videos. Zango's software has been proven to be spyware many
times in the past:

I just personally don't want someone to find scriggity on zango and
then install a software that they can't get off of their computer,
when it's completely unnecessary to do so :)

2007-05-13 Thread bestdamntechshow
Content drives audiences. The software itself is interesting. I
personally don't watch too much tv, I could see people
viewing/chatting about/sharing content through this system.

My questions have been, what are the plans to open up the platform to
everyone creating content, and if not everyone, then who other than
MTV/CBS/etc.

So far I haven't seen anything other than MTV episodes on it, until
there is cool content that I can only watch on Joost or EASILY watch
on joost, meaning easier than anywhere else, I won't use it to watch
anything at all.

LisaNova tried out for MadTV some time ago and didn't get the nod.
She has a bunch of subscribers on her YouTube channel, went back to
MadTV and they hired her.Congrats to her, but other than that,
this isn't a huge story.

Not to sound like a hater, but this might be a bigger story if it was
say...SNL who hired someone from YouTube (which may happen, you never
know).

Bottom line is talent is talent. A little bit of cross-over news for
MadTV (in the YT world) doesn't hurt either.

[videoblogging] viewer feedback

2007-02-09 Thread bestdamntechshow
how do all of you feel about the user feedback that you get? is it
enough (like there is such thing as enough), or are you concerned that
people are just watching and not getting involved.

how do we turn that trend around? what type of tools do we need to
really break the wall down and gain one on one relationships with the
people who watch our videos?
