[videoblogging] Bandwidth
My videos are ~10 meg. I'm using 1and1 and looking at significant amounts of money in bandwidth charges if my user base expands (which I'm hoping it does). Does anyone have advice on a way around the bandwidth issues of serving up video? Glenn, my web guy, contacted a service that was offering unlimited bandwidth but they said that was an old promotion, from before video blogs and they won't honor it anymore. Yahoo! For use with iTunes, I host my videos on blip.tv. For the other formats, I use archive.org (big brother to ourmedia). Blip uploads with a html page and for archive, I prefer ftp over their upload tool. My last episode upload to archive was over 1gig. Hope this helps.
