it seems that this thread has gotten off point and the original remark
may have been misinterpreted.

first, the main question was regarding another group.  I think the
group michael asked about is
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/videoblogging_content/

second, i think michael may have taken his own point off track by
mentioning the signature (perhaps in friendly jest).  I don't think the
issue is really the signature as much as it may be with the constant
and (often repeated) "I posted another video" emails.  

While it's true that Paul self-promotes more than most, lots of people
plug their new vlogs and posts here (just search for the subject line
"shameless self promotion").

part. But I guess it depends on what country you're from and where you
