[videoblogging] Sharing some good news

2008-06-09 Thread Sheila English
It's been a great week for my company and I wanted to share the good news!

We were in The Wall Street Journal on Saturday and that has resulted
in some great contacts! We also just found out that one of our
original shows is under consideration for Transit TV (11 million views
a week)while a different one is being considered by Lifetime TV
online. Of course being under "consideration" doesn't always pan out,
but it was really nice to hear people be enthusiastic about our shows!

I'm finding more and more people interested in original shows, but I
wonder if the actor's strike will create changes that harm online
episodic content distribution? I don't expect to have to hire SAG
actors to be in my shows, but adding new rules often results in mass
confusion during the learning curve and that always gives me a headache.

Thanks for letting me share! Have a great week!

Sheila
