[videoblogging] itunes censorship?

2005-07-17 Thread mark_thisorthat

Has anyone had itunes refuse to display a post?

I posted to my blog last Monday, and the post did not appear in the
itunes listing for my feed. Then when I posted again on Wenesday,
both posts appeared at the same time.
I next posted on Friday and the post has yet to appear in the itunes
listings. About half hour ago (Sunday evening) I posted again and
this time the new post appeared in the itunes listing within 20
minutes. But this time there is no sign of the older post from Friday.

Has anyone else experienced this?

My feed, This or That! Video from America's Favorite Burlesque Game
Show, is marked as explicit in itunes and tagged as having adult
content on all posts.

http://feeds.feedburner.com/ThisOrThat-video

It is fine when viewed everywhere else.

The post that still hasn't appeared in itunes can be found here:

http://feeds.feedburner.com/ThisOrThat-Video?m=44

Anyone know how to contact Apple about this kind of thing?

Mark

Note that iTunes has a static listing and also a dynamic listing.

The main directory is cache on their server. They have not been
updating it daily. However, when you subscribe to a feed, once you
are subscribed in itunes, your feed is used dynamically and everytime
the subscriber updates, by pressing the update key or automatically
updating, it will be according to your xml page which is indexed at
that time and independent of Apple and their podcast directory.

Some posts that do not appear do not have readable media, for
instance, if your post has a .wmv file, the entire post, including
metadata, will not appear in iTunes.
