Thank you and you are correct. The "bullies" on youtube can destroy
you. They tear apart my new channel- and I have agreed the content
was to mature for youtube.

We will be jumping over to blip.tv with some new material.

But the flagging on that website is ridiculous.

This is an excellent idea. In addition, having the stalker's IP address is one
step closer to that person's identity especially if the stalking is taken to
the "real" world. To get those IP addresses from YouTube (if they respond to
you) requires a subpoena.

2007-11-14 Thread Jill H
Hi Rupert,

I do not want to sound lame, but I am easily confused once someone
mentions blocking IP addresses and RSS information.

I made a video on youtube about they do not care about the community,
as they never respond to my emails- which was about flagging. two
hours later, they emailed me a generic response.

There is nothing you can do about harassment. People are able to
create an account in 5 mins. I have already sent out complaints on
two separate users who would like to see me fail in life and make my
video blogging experience miserable. There is one girl who's only
purpose on youtube is to make hate videos about me. Someone I do not
think that is fair or right? Plus she spams and harasses my friends
and family members on there. I have more positive then negative
influences on their, but it's the negative ones that really get to
you. I would love to talk to Steve Chen, I do not think the people at
youtube really understand harassment and stalkers. I had one fan fly
from england to meet me. I didn't want to meet him and he got so angry
that now he trolls me on youtube and any other site and makes my life
miserable. That is not normal.

Sorry for this long rant. I do not want to disable comments because
there are a lot of great friends I have. But I am looking into
posting my work vlogs on Blip.tv.

If you could further explain blocking IP's that would be great...
if you want to take if off this list, so no one gets annoyed, my email
is [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Thank you,
Jill
