[Videolib] MARC catalog records

2012-11-12 Thread Matt Hartman
Hello, all
I have a question for distributors. Do most of you include MARC c catalog
records as a value-added product to libraries which purchase/subscribe to
your videos, dvd and/or streamed?
If so, do you have a cataloger on staff creating the records or do you
outsource?
Many thanks for any and all responses!
Matt

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.

Hello, Matt,

Thanks for your inquiry about MARC records. Bullfrog Films offers MARC records
for all of our titles. We have the MARC records prepared to the libraries'
specifications by the talented folks at marc4media: MARC Records for
Educational Media. Check out their web site at
www.marc4media.com.

Let me know if you have any questions.
