Subject: [Videolib] Multi-region DVD/VHS combo decks

Hi All,

Sorry if this has been discussed before, but does anyone recommend a
multi-region DVD/VHS combo deck (plays international DVDs and international
VHS) that doesn't require a multi-system TV?

Cheers,

Matt

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.

From my quick look, the vhs/dvd multi-region players I saw on this site are
discontinued...making me a little nervous!

You see, I don't believe that libraries should be drab places where people
sit in silence, and that's been the main reason for our policy of employing
wild animals as librarians.
