Re: [Videolib] Two Women (De Sica)

2012-03-03 Thread Delin, Peter
The only acceptable version is the Italian one restored in the
restauration program of Cinema Forever, but it is in PAL and has no
English subs: http://www.amazon.it/La-Ciociara-Sophia-Loren/dp/B000CCHF3Q/
Here is the comparison by Gary W. Tooze
http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film/dvdcompare/twowomen.htm

"Medusa have now released this film in its proper aspect ratio and with
original Italian audio, but most unfortunately, they did not include
English subtitles. Everything about the Medusa DVD is obviously superior
but I suppose one could use DVDSubber or a similar software to obtain a
written transcript of the films dialogue in English. It would be worth
it. If anyone takes the trouble to do this, could they please email me,
I would appreciate it." (Gary Tooze, 2003)

Michael - The film was public domain before the Berne Treaty. Now it's back
in copyright.
