Subject: [Videolib] a few films i need a little info on
Hi all,
I'm working with faculty on purchasing streaming/DSL a few films and I need
some advice if you have it - thanks.
Central Park Five, avail from PBS/WETA - if we wanted a DSL, could we ask for
one? I actually do not know if DSL is something everyone accommodates. I
don't think anyone is streaming PBS/POV, but if so, I'd love to know.
Tongues United - from California Newsreel with Streaming (am I correct?). We
purchased the DVD from Docurama originally, but --- looks like if I have the
DVD it is less $$ for the Streaming.
Black Like Me - not through Criterion or Swank. Probably not possible, but
thought I'd ask.
Thanks all - your insight is always a beautiful thing.
Best,
lorraine

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
