I am pretty sure New Yorker has rights to all of them actually ( there maybe a split contract re video rights on Faat Kine) However I don't know if they have prints on the shorts or Mandabe. I believe the NYPL collection has 16mm on some of the titles New Yorker does not so it is possible you can work something out.
However I don't know what venue you would use. The prints are very rare so the 35mm would likely not be allowed on a commercial screen with either a big reel or platter. VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
