[VIHUELA] Re: Foscarini

2009-09-12 Thread Monica Hall
   Well - I can't understand it.

I can see the illustrations which I have there and the 2 PDFs of music
   - Foscarini and Princess Anne.

There are a lot of messages which are really out of date. Do they
   ever get deleted?

Yes, Monica, I can't see much there either. Everything else seems OK
with the site. Very strange. I'll keep looking for developments.

P.S. There was someone called Jane sending Spam which I received. Perhaps
that has had some effect?

I'm sure your page will be visible soon. But I still can't see anything on
your ning page other than your name and the little woodcut thing.

I can't access your ning page... it's just a blank. Is it because you
have been winding up the lute list?

In case anyone is still interested in Foscarini I added several
more

   pieces on my [1]www.earlyguitar.ning.com

site including the very long toccatta on p.114-115.

Interesting piece although not sure if my re-construction is very
   convincing.

there are now 30 pieces - of silver.

   Monica

So what would be an example of gold?

Your page seems to be working now. 'Jane' got removed some time ago.
She comes back in various guises but I have managed to remove her each
time. She also visits other ning groups.

All seems OK for the present.

I've just removed her again. Seems to be just one person. I could shut
the site down for anyone who hasn't registered, and then ask them
pertinent questions regarding early guitars, but that might frighten
some off. If it get's worse I'll review the situation.

2009-09-12 Thread Nelson, Jocelyn
That sounds good; I don't think there's a need to shut down the site. Maybe if
you just mention there's a spam if you see one, because I didn't realize this
was spam until Monica just mentioned it. (I'm not too swift about these things
. . . )

Thanks,
Jocelyn
