Of course, this can be achieved by something like this: syntax region SomeRegion start="\I\i*{" end="}" contains=Inner syntax match Inner "\(\I\i*{\)\@<={[^}]*}" contained but it seems overkill to me: is there any simpler way of doing the same without having to repeat the "start" pattern and ignore it using a zero-width assertion?
