You can try this mapping with the left mouse button (I don't try with
C-] because I can't type CTRL-] on my french keyboard :p ) :

map C-LeftMouse  :exe :stj  . expand(cword)CR

Do you mean like either of these?  I'm not very familiar with all 
the various tag commands.
