Enhanced LC PDS expansion cards

2001-08-14 Thread Sean McGroty

Were any LC PDS cards made that used the extra connections on the LC III and
later?

OxyClean works well when cleaning cases. Not sure about the yellowing
though. Although, it seemed to work on my SE case.

That statement reminded me of a question I had:

Does anyone know of a SMB (Samba) server for A/UX? Freeware, commercial,
doesn't matter.

Re: My Newest Compact....a Performa 5xxx?

2001-08-22 Thread Sean McGroty

I went to a farmer's market a while back, and they had a computer shop.
Among others, they were selling a 6100 DOS 40/1GB w/monitor, KB, mouse for
$250, a Q605 for $175, and a SE for $75. Also, they had a 128k, with KB and
mouse, in the carry bag for $75. They even had Apple ][ series systems in
the $50 area. When I saw the prices, I started laughing. I bet a few people
were staring at me...

CD burning on a Performa 466

2001-08-26 Thread Sean McGroty

I want to use my CD-RW on my Performa 466 with Toast 4.1, but the system
crashes whenver I insert a CD. The Performa is running System 7.6.1 I'm
thinking of using an earlier version of Toast, but I can't find anything
before 4. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Is NeroMAX supported on 68K systems? I'd buy it when it comes out later this
year...
