It's off.
A twist of the wide bit of my brake adjust tool was the ticket
to popping the two locks topside front.

You got it off already?
IIRC, you have to rotate it slightly upward while pulling, because there's
a finder holding front and back together on the top side, halfway.

Hi.

Can anyone tell me the secret to getting the cover
off a 1990 Macintosh 12" RGB Display?

Its got two screws only on the bottom side;
releases to a degree but what would be the top
side front won't let go.  I didn't want to scar it
up any more with the screwdriver twist 
which wound up my last resort.

I just want to blow it out as I know by the
smell that it's heavily dust laden inside.
