System 6 has a ceiling of 8 MB.
Mode32 won't work with System 6 but Optima32 will.
But Optima won't work with MultFinder, Desktop Mgr extension, nor any other
System 6 components nor any applications that are not 32 bit clean.

Maxima 3.0 is better because it doesn't have those problems, OTOH it
provides a ceiling of 14 MB instead of 32 MB.

IIci RAM and System 6.0.8

2002-08-20 Thread Mark Benson

Does System 6 have a 4MB RAM ceiling or is there a way to allow it to
use more? I have a IIci with 32MB of RAM and I see it being fairly
pointless unless I can use all of it. Is Mode32 the answer?
