100 68851 FPUs.Pity they're only 16 MHz.

The FPU is the 68881 or 68882. The chips at auction
are the PMMU chip.

Those chips are just
the thing for anyone who owns a Mac II with the AMU
chip instead of the PMMU chip which allows virtual
memory to be used. A vital component for running Linux
on a Mac II.

Oooops. Apologies to the list. I always get those two confused.

On the bright side, it's no longer a pity that they're only 16 MHz,
as Apple never used a 68020 faster than 16 MHz.

But what would the winner do with the other 99 of them? There was
another lot from the same seller with quantity 50 but starting at
$150, so $3/chip instead of $2/chip.

I guess when neither lot sells you could email the seller and ask how
much for a smaller quantity.

Sell 'em individually to other Mac II Linux enthusiasts? :)

Make keychains?

I'd be tempted at a dollar a piece because I could probably sell the keychains
for $5...
