Three Macs and a Printer is pretty good. AppleTalk on the Mac is basically plug-n-play, and it's well-documented on Linux, though certainly not *as* simple. -- the pickle FAQ http://macfaq.org/index.shtml _ -- Vintage Macs is sponsored by http://lowendmac.com/ and... AppleTalk on the Mac is basically plug-n-play, and it's well-documented on Linux, though certainly not *as* simple. thanks. yeah, i was checking 3 macs and a printer, and the other refs on the faq, which will certainly get me going for wiring my 2 macs together, the difficulty comes with the linux netatalk stuff, i've had very variable results with it (and im much better at linux networking than anything else!). worked beautifully talking to a G3 Powerbook, cant get it working at all with a G4 desktop. havent tried the 68ks yet but im fairly sure its going to be interesting... m~ - -- iriXx www.iriXx.org _ ( ) ascii ribbon against html email X / \cat /dev/sda1 /dev/dsp *** stopping make sense *** -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Netscape - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQE+gviJ2a60Ya63ox4RAiS4AJ977plaMGFh56X17xQncW+27xlx4QCcC7PN Ls+YhL2CXSxV2Yq+Z6p5sA4= =kJW2 -END PGP SIGNATURE- -- Vintage Macs is sponsored by http://lowendmac.com/ and...
