Re: Defender By Otterbox For IPhone 6-Plus?
No because I read the reviews of the Otterbox and bought a Ballistic case instead. When Apple introduces forced touch to the iPhone, more might drop their infatuation with Otterbox cases. My last case upgrade went from Otterbox Defender to a Griffin Survivor. Bit bricky, but it works well for me; I took one look and didn't even fit the defender I'd bought in advance. Recommendation For IPhone 6 Plus Case, Please?
Hi list. I'm looking for some recommendations for a case for my new IPhone 6 Plus that I got yesterday. Right now it is in Defender by Otterbox but I am not happy with it because the plastic sheet on the screen is not flushed with the screen, thus, it does not accept a light tap, touch or swipe. I have to tap hard. Any recommendations, please? Thanks! -- The following information is important for all members of the viphone list. All new members to the this list are moderated by default. Re: Apple TV
I use one of these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KBHX072/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8camp=17... It's a little box that is meant for if you're plugging something into a tv that doesn't give you the other inputs you need. With this box, you get RCA outputs, so I just ran a patch cord into my audio mixer. If you just get an HDMI cable, plug that from the Apple TV into this box, you're good to go with RCA outputs. This cost about $25, and the two cords you'll need won't cost but a few ddollars more. Matthew -- The following information is important for all members of the viphone list. Re: When dealing with notifications.
I think so. Simply set show on lock screen to on, then choose none in the Alert Style picker. In theory, this will show notifications for the app in question on your lock screen and in your notification center, but will not show banners (which VO announces) when the phone is unlocked. You may also wish to play with the sound options; for Facebook Messenger, I have the alert set to None, but I leave the sound on. My phone vibrates and plays the distinctive sound, but I don't have to worry about VoiceOver reading the message automatically. Plus, any Messenger notifications will appear, in full, on my lock screen. The advantage is that I'm notified by the sound and can check when I have time, instead of randomly checking and finding no new messages. It's all up to you though, so see what combination of settings gives you the best results.
