Getting an Email Message in Appropriate In-Box?

2016-01-28 Thread Fazil M.
Hi, list.

I have Iphone6Plus with IOS9.2

I have four email accounts in Iphone's native email app.

Messages from all accounts come in one in-box.

Is there a way where a message should come to the account's in-box which it
is sent to?

Thanks!

get close to a all in 1 device, no matter whether virtual or physical keyboards.

Hello Paul,
No, braille screen input is direct touch. If you touch a key combination, that
is entered, in other words. If you use a braille display, unless I'm terribly
wrong, I don't believe you have to calibrate that, but I'm not sure, as I never
use a display, I just find it too tedious.

Re: Getting an Email Message in Appropriate In-Box?

2016-01-28 Thread Woody Anna Dresner
hi Fazil,

If you back out of the inbox screen, you'll be on a screen listing all your
accounts and inboxes. At the top of the list is the unified inbox that shows
all incoming messages from all accounts. Below that, the inboxes for all your
accounts are listed. If you choose one of those, you'll only see the new
messages from that account.

Best,
Anna

2016-01-28 Thread Alan Paganelli
Apparently they updated the NFL app. If I remember right, it was the December
30ith update of the NFL app that caused all the trouble. The present NFL app
was updated this month. You can view week 1, week 2, week 3 etc and select
your team and the game for that week which I'm happy to say now let's you hear
the game from either point of view..

Re: New 5S

2016-01-28 Thread christopher hallsworth
I'm confused too. If you are on about the rumoured iPhone 5XE, this is
basically an upgraded model of the 5s. It will house an A9 processor with N9
coprocessor, and all the goodies you find in today's iPhones. This and other
hardware/software announcements/launches are rumoured to be unvailed at an
event in mid March.

Hi all. Does anyone know how to put this contraption together? I tried
to get it together but even the pads are off out of the base. So I'll

Re: How many use VO Braille Screen Input?

2016-01-28 Thread christopher hallsworth
You download the MBraille app for free, and you can use the keyboard to input
both contracted and uncontracted Braille and send your text to either Messages
or Twitter. As for the third party keyboard, only uncontracted Braille can be
used, most of the editing features are disabled.

RE: Getting an Email Message in Appropriate In-Box?

2016-01-28 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Hi Fazil,

To add to what Anna said, you can customize which mailboxes are shown on your
main mail screen. At the top right is an edit button. Once you double tap on
that you can drag the mailboxes around if you want them to appear in a
different order and you can also deselect the All Inbox folder if you don’t
care about it. Similarly there is an “Unread” mail folder you can have but once
again, if you have unread messages from different accounts they will all show
up in that folder. There are also folders for All Trash”, one to show only
messages with attachments and so on.

Regards,

Sieghard

Best,

Anna

Thanks!

Re: MBraille Suggestion, was Re: How many use VO Braille Screen Input?

2016-01-28 Thread 'Carol Pearson' via VIPhone

Hi Cheryl,

I'm sending a copy of this to Harri, because I do believe there are
buggy situations that need us to look more closely.

Harri may want to formulate some tasks for each of us to try out to help
to squash (improve) this one. You certainly can mess things up quite
easily ... so I just try to follow my pattern and for me it's OK, most
of the time.

Read on for what I write in your circumstances, Cheryl:

I too find it more difficult to type on the 6S must my most comfortable
position is to hold the phone with thumbs and little fingers on the
edges, near to the corners. In this way you get to write with fingers a
little more comfortably, I think. I also use the "away" mode exclusively
as nothing else really works for me, though I play with others and can
manage tabletop if I'm lying back in a chair. I find piano just too
close and, if you use edges of the sreen, to try to keep your fingers in
order, this doesn't work well for me without any dots to guide and I
don't have any on my 6S. Again, if one could indicate where you want to
place the fingers, it may work a little better.

I also changed one of the new settings, which is for away" mode to
ensure the home button stays on the right. In all other circumstances I
work in locked portrait mode and don't alter it when using mBraille. I
don't have a split screen.

I have been trying to carry out a few tests and, though I can't work out
a pattern right now as I'm not well and struggling to write anything, I
am nevertheless convinced that it does depend on which you load first
and/or what you're writing into with mBraille as to the results you get.

Perhaps Harri may want to take a closer look at this.

For me, I'm happy enough, knowing I don't have a split screen (usually
anyway) and, when things don't work right, I just take both apps out of
the switcher and that's usually sufficient.

I hope this helps a bit.

Please return my receipt or come back to me to let me know you have both
seen this as my desktop doesn't allow me to indicate (as with the phone)
that I wish to see responses to certain threads.

Hi,
I am experiencing the same problem as Bret. I could swipe three

to use the MBraille keyboard for its powerful features. But the
inability to dismiss the keyboard stands in my way.
Also, ever since I upgraded from my iPhone 5C to a 6S Plus, most of
what I write using the MBraille keyboard doesn't come out correctly. I
use MBraille in Away Mode, and I suspect that my hands are just too
small. The iOS Braille keyboard lets you calibrate the dot positions,
and that's probably why I've had a lot more success using it.
Finally, the split screen view seems to interfere with MBraille. For
example, I hold the phone in portrait orientation and double tap a
text field to reply to an iMessage. I then activate the MBraille
keyboard and rotate the phone to landscape mode, screen facing away
from me. The MBraille keyboard is dismissed, as the phone switches to
the split screen view with contacts on the left and conversations on
the right.
If anyone has any suggestions to offer regarding any of these issues,
I welcome them. I would love to use MBraille as a third party
keyboard, and not just in its standalone form.

Thanks!

For me the three finger swipe right to dismiss the MBraille keyboard

Chris,

Why are you suggesting here that the Third Party keyboard only works
with uncontracted Braille? Not in my house!

I am sure, if you upgrade but don't pay for that Third Party keyboard,
or maybe you don't allow all options, it may not work but, if you do, it
does - for me anyway.

I'd be interested to know why it doesn't work for you.

Yes, I do use both the MBraille and the Apple supplied on-board keyboard. I
love MBraille a lot, in fact most days. I think it is more accurate than the
Apple on-board keyboard. Maybe, though, that is a user perspective and the
errors could be mine!

I am not too keen on using it as an extra keyboard, because it's a bit tricky to use it
in this way, because of the other keyboards that are already installed. I wish it could
be on the rotor! Anyway, I quite often use the old method too, so I can open the app and
then cut and paste accordingly, because in some ways it is easier and I like it better!
What I do like is to have proper key clicks when typing. I'm afraid this is one of the
disappointments of the Braille app by Apple which you can include on the rotor. By the
way, I use the "away mode" ” because it's the only thing that really works for
me. I can't imagine becoming proficient with anything other than this..

If you have any further questions, do come back. I hope this is helpful! Carol P

Applewatch app layout - how to change?

2016-01-28 Thread Kramlinger, Keith G., M.D.
Hi,

I can't seem to figure out how to change app layout on my Applewatch.

I go to the Watch app on my phone, go to app layout. It says to double tap and
hold, then drag app. I do that, get announcements like Upper left, Lower right,

are always still in their original position. I've looked for an Edit button on
that screen, but there doesn't seem to be one.

Any insights appreciated .

Re: Reading with a Braille display in the Kindle app

2016-01-28 Thread Cheryl Lenartiene
Hi Anna,
Yes, I have. I've actually been seeing this behavior for a little while, at
least ever since 9.2.1 was in public Beta. But I've made purchases at the same
time, so I can't say whether something was introduced into iOS, or whether the
the behavior is content specific. I mostly read Bibles and Bible commentaries
in the Kindle app, so not only are the files large, but they are reference
materials with notes. I'm not sure whether the type of content has anything to
do with anything. I can look to see if I have shorter and plainer books to test
with.I can say that I experience similar issues with the Logos Bible app, and I
have for years, but I thought it was specific to that app. It wasn't until I
was writing this that I remembered the commonality.

Hello,
Its still not built in like for IOS, though. For some of us, while we're new, a
braille keyboard is a miracle. It sure was for me. With android, I would have
had no choice, but to go app hunting the very first day.

Re: MBraille Suggestion, was Re: How many use VO Braille Screen Input?

2016-01-28 Thread Cheryl Lenartiene
Hi Carol,

Thank you so much for your suggestions! I have locked my phone in portrait
orientation, and that has improved performance. However, my hands are small,
and I have found that unless I keep my hands exactly centered on the phone, I
don't hit all of the dots with all of my fingers. In other words, I could be
hitting dot 2 with both my index and middle fingers, instead of dots one and
two, because the rectangles for the dots are quite a bit larger on the 6S plus
then on the 5C.. For this reason, I do find the native Braille screen input a
little easier. The fact that I can calibrate the dots is a big help, because it
accommodates my smaller fingers. I will keep practicing, though, and I will try
holding my phone in the way you suggest. Hopefully it will help.

I use braille screen input, but more for messaging and emailing when I'm on the
go and don't have my keyboard, which I yep faster on. I don't, however, use
braille screen input for MudRammer or anything like that where text has to

Woops that message is confusing. What I meant was the new i-phone 5S would have
to have the fingerprint i.d. because the old one has. Why on earth are they
having all these new phones again. Like having another 5S? when they’re already
nearly to the seven.
