Voice Dream Reader For A Friend In Pakistan

2018-12-26 Thread Fazil M.
Hi, list.

A friend in Pakistan wants Voice Dream Reader but does not have creditcard.
What other payment options does he have?

Can I help him anyway?

Can I buy him gift card? If I do, should I just give him the number of the
card or what? Can I buy the gift card via my iPhone? If yes, how can that be
done, please?

Sorry for that many questions.

Your help is much appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi, you can use family sharing to share apps, movies, and maybe videos. I'm not
too sure about that. But that way, you don't have to share Apple IDs.

Sharing my iTunes video library

2018-12-26 Thread Mary Otten
I have looked into the possibility of sharing my iTunes video library with my
husband. We both have Apple TVs. But we have different Apple ID’s. Of course I
have audio description enabled on my Apple TV, and he can’t stand it. From the
reading I have done, it sounds like all of the devices which will share the
library have to have the same Apple ID. So that’s not going to work for us. Am
I wrong? Is there a way that I can share my iTunes library with his Apple TV
even though his ID is different from mine?

I have Colorino; bought it about five years ago. Not perfect by any means, but

The color identifier apps are great for fun, but not reliable. if you
really need to know what color something is, for example, to match clothing,
nothing beats a dedicated hardware color identifier. I use the Colortest
from APH, which is very expensive, but there are cheaper units out there,
and any of them would be superior to an app.

Although many people are using color identifiers on the iPhone, I agree with

Hello,

It’s been awhile since color identifiers have been discussed here and since I
recently lost my Rainbow color identifier I thought I’d check in to see what
people are using before I replace it. So, what are you all using?

Thanks,

Re: iTunes Store questions

2018-12-26 Thread Wayne Scott
The difference betthat buying
and renting media is that when you buy, you can watch it whenever you want. I
have never rented. I just buy that way I can listen to it whenever I'm ready.
The app store and the iTunes store are almost identical. I wish they make a
deal like Apple Music where you can subscribe a certain amount a month to watch
TV shows. I subscribe to Apple Music and it's worth the $9.99 a month.

iTunes Store questions

2018-12-26 Thread Bill Outman
I have some questions about the iTunes Store.

I think I can navigate around the tabs and think I have some idea how to
purchase/rent media, similarly to how it would be done in the App Store.

What are the differences between buying and renting media such as
movies/television shows? I may have to do the latter for the moment for
budget reasons.

Instant pot or altnertavies in Europe

2018-12-26 Thread Jesper Holten
Hi. For us unlucky ones living in Europe it seems that even the new
Instant pot smart wifi model is not going to be available in the
European market at least for now. THe Bluetooth version has never been
made for the European market as it would require adaptation for
220/240 power supply. But are there any Pressure cooker alternatives
that can be managed through the iPhone either through Bluetooth or
wifi.
Any inputs would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Best regards, Jesper.

Re: New Apple Watch Owner with some questions.

2018-12-26 Thread Ann Byrne
With the watch, use one finger less for the gestures. Scroll is two
fingers instead of three, for example. Be sure you have hints turned
on on your phone; then the watch will give you hints related to the
watch. I haven't used mail on mine, but in messages it tells me to
press and hold to compose a new message.

Anna Dresner has a good introductory book sold by National Braille
press for about $20. It gives you lots of good information.

At 04:07 AM 12/26/2018, you wrote:

Well guys,
I just got to open up some AirPods and an Apple Watch Series 4.
I have a lot of questions about the Apple watch though.
When in the mail app, how do I get the compose button? When I try to
do the 4 finger tap at the bottom it's really hard to fit all 4
fingers on the screen.

Ok I will just put all of my questions in separate emails.
thanks all for your help.

New Apple Watch Owner with some questions.

2018-12-26 Thread Maria Reyes
Well guys,
I just got to open up some AirPods and an Apple Watch Series 4.
I have a lot of questions about the Apple watch though.
When in the mail app, how do I get the compose button? When I try to do the 4
finger tap at the bottom it's really hard to fit all 4 fingers on the screen.
Ok I will just put all of my questions in separate emails.
thanks all for your help.
