Unfortunately there is not a way to delete a lot of emails at once on the
phone. If you have IMAP. You can do it with the computer.

Deleting e mails in bulk

2019-01-10 Thread 'Gary Robinson' via VIPhone

Hi,

After a glitch during the migration from one phone to another the mail
box seems to have tripled in size.  I think the restore recovered the
trash back into the in box so now I have over 1200 emails to delete.

Is there a quick way of deleting e mails in bulk or even emptying the
Trash in bulk as in Windows etc?

Thanks

Gary

Hi there,

Go to settings, then accounts and passwords. Now go to your account you want to

right until you hear delete account.

Hope this helps,

RE: Ecobee4, and Nest gen3 Smart Thermostats

2019-01-10 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Yu can't really operate it manually as a blind person, at least I haven't
tried. I guess maybe you could if you had a sighted person figure it out first
and then maybe put on a few tactile dots to indicate where you have to push.
Our T5 has at times disconnected, but you typically only have to take it off
it's wall-mount cradle and snap it back on to reset it and it should reconnect.
Probably a good idea to get the installer to show you how that works. I guess
in my case I have the advantage that Jackie can do some trouble shooting if
necessary and I still have a super-old fashion thermostat upstairs which just
has the lever at the bottom you slide from left to right. Our Lyric T5 is
downstairs as it's always a bit cooler there and this way if we have a visitor
staying in our guest room downstairs it's easier to make sure it's comfortable
and we just know that whatever temperature we set downstairs makes it a degree
or 1.5 degrees warmer upstairs and of course for my lovely wife warmer = better
*smile*.
We also have a woodstove in the living room upstairs and at times when it's
really cold outside and nobody is using the downstairs we set the Lyric
downstairs to 15 or 16 degrees, close all the vents upstairs and then use the
woodstove upstairs which makes it warmer than you want in n o time if you are
not careful and put in too many pieces of wood.
It might just be a good idea to ask your installer if he can put a basic
manual/mechanical thermostat next to the Lyric T6, just keep it turned all the
way down but this way if you ever have an issue with the T6 at least you have
something to fall back on and these things only cost $20.

I now have two Google Mini’s and one Amazon Echo Plus with Hub.

Now that I am beginning to make my home smarter I have discovered that the

After reading your assessment of how both speakers handled several tasks, I
agree with your conclusion. I continue to be amazed at how intuitive Google
Mini is and rate it head and shoulders above Alexa.

Before I order that Thermostat, I’m wondering if you know which Honeywell is

Hi Reg,

Did you just order it or is it already hooked up? As for the Google Home I must
say that I am impressed with it and while I'll put my thoughts in a separate
post along with my review of the Nest Hello video doorbell I just bought for my
business, I think I like it a lot more than my Echo speakers. Of course the
Echo has the advantage that is gives me access to my Audible library, but so
far for most other things I have tried I find the Google Home better.

Well there you go again, Sieghard is selling for Honeywell. I just bought one

RE: TP Link wireless plug and alexa app?

2019-01-10 Thread David Whitehead
What is TP smart plug?
Operate any electronic device remotely with this TP-Link smart plug. It
connects to your Wi-Fi network and syncs with your smartphone via the Kasa app
so you can easily turn on and off any plugged-in device or schedule its
operation while you're away.

the button on the end of the tp link smart plug is a reset button.
you will need to from your iphone install the kasa app,

1. Using the Alexa app or through the web interface at Amazon, search for and
find the Kasa Skill.
2. Once you find it click/tap the Enable button and log in with your TP-Link
Cloud Account credentials.
3. Once the skill is active you will then search for connected devices so that
the device and skill can be linked in Alexa.

Hi Dave. Thank you. Do you mean the Casa app? Or is there another one? Thank
you for the response... and for letting me know I wasn't a complete moron! lol.
