Hi yes you were right about the speech. I have moved my charger to a
different room so when I disconnect them my iPhone should work properly.

Sorry, Brian, I don't use hearing aids, by "my Bluetooth earpiece" I meant
my Voyager Edge single headset. I just suggested to check the hearing aids
because I thought it could be possible that if she wasn't wearing them but
they were on that Voiceover might be speaking through the hearing aids hence
no audio on the headset.

Dear Sieghard & List;
What make & model are your hearing aids? I use a pair of Widex ones, they
have no on/off switch. Makes wearing them with over-the-ear headphones a
pain as I need to remove them. When they are connected to their charger,
they cannot connect with Bluetooth, however other times they will connect,
causing my IPhone to say nothing through its loudspeaker.

I can almost guaranty that the there is something going on either with the
connection to the hearing aids or with volume. When you don't get volume, do
you wear your hearing aids at that time? The other day I got all frustrated
because suddenly my phone was silent, then I remembered that my Bluetooth
earpiece had run out of battery and I plugged it in to charge without having
first turned it off. Once it had some charge it turned on and the phone
connected to it. It was 20 feet away in the kitchen so of course I could not
hear Voiceover which was happily speaking through the earpiece.

Re: Seeing A I question

2019-02-13 Thread Anna Dresner
Hi,

I wonder if it's a burst photo, several photos taken within a second or two. I
know burst photos are seen as a unit in some cases and that iOS tries to
display the best one of the bunch. The pHotos app gives you the option to
delete the whole burst or a single photo.

Best,
Anna

Now for the question. There are photos in my Camera roll which I haven't

Seeing A I question

2019-02-13 Thread Donald Roberts
I have to say that I am delighted with the way that the Seeing A I app has
progressed. Recently my daughter took photos of a couple of documents using my
iPhone 6 running 12.1.4, and Seeing A I read the text without error.

Now for the question. There are photos in my Camera roll which I haven't
labeled which therefore use the file date for the label. I am using Seeing A I
on these in an attempt to identify just what they are so that I can then label
the photos appropriately. In most instances, Seeing A I will let me delete the
photos individually. However, in one particular instance, Seeing A I asks me
whether I wish to delete 10 photos. No option to delete the particular photo in
question. Why is this? Does it have something to do with the number of photos
in that particular month? I just can't figure it out. Thanks for ideas.

In-app purchases in Crafting Kingdom

2019-02-13 Thread Wayne Merritt
Greetings. To those who play the iOS accessible game Crafting Kingdom,
I have a question regarding purchasing more jems. I can navigate to
the jem purchase area in the Jem Shop, but it is not clear what each
purchase will give. If I understand it correctly, it sounds like you
get multiples on different purchases. For instance, if I get the X2
jems, then my jems amounts are multiplied by 2 whenever I get jems, so
normally I would get 2 jems from the treasure chest but with the
purchase I get 4. Is that correct?

Thanks,
Wayne

Re: Problem with braille input after update.

2019-02-13 Thread Arnold Schmidt
I haven't had any problems with it recently, but when I do, oftentimes
switching it between contracted and six-dot, then back to contracted, will
straighten it out. I don't know why this works.

Hello
Is anyone experiencing a problem with the braille screen input? I’ve just
completed the recent update. Finding the brow input is not working as it should
be. I even tried to calibrate the dots again. Just checking to see if anyone
else is experiencing the same problem. Or if it is a known problem, is there
anything I should do to rectify it?
Thanks and regards

Re: Screen curtain and battery?

2019-02-13 Thread Dave Jones
When the screen curtain is turned on, screen brightness is automatically
set to zero. This would indeed save battery life.
