Re: How to Change VO Speed on 6S by Single Digit Increments?

2019-05-21 Thread Mike B.
Hi Dani,

You have to do a single finger double tap and hold, until you hear a sound,
then move your finger up or down the screen to adjust these slider settings
and then lift your finger off the screen when you finally get to your
desired number. This can be really agravating because as soon as you lift
your finger off the screen it'll change by a couple of single digits. So,
keep playing around with it until you get your desired number. When you
aren't getting any responses by moving your finger, do another double tap
and hold and try again! LOL What a pain.

Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool. Go Dodgers!
I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please
everybody.

Hi, Everyone.
I bought a used 128G 6S and got help from my husband re transferring
data from my old phone to the new one. Everything's working well so
far *crossd fingers*. But I can't figure out how to change the VO
speech rate incrementally. It's at 56 percent, and when I flick
up/down, it moves in units of 10. 66 is a little fast, and 46 is a
little slow. I'd like it at about 60. Ideas?

Thhanks,
Dani

There not very big at all. Most people don’t even know that I have them in
until I tell them. The charging case is slightly bigger than most think it
should be, but that’s because of the hooks. Personally the hooks was my
selling point, and they are very comfortable.

I usually don’t write reviews. But these Power beats Pro are so good, I
have to let others know. Let me start by saying I am not a beats fan. I prefer
bose, or generic knockoff models with long battery life. The thing that has
turned me off from beats in the past was the wire going between each earbud.
So when apple announced “power beats pro truly wireless” I immediately became
interested. I hate wires, there always getting tangled up and over time become
unusable. These power beats pro bring a new life to music. I almost never
listened to music with the apple wired ear pods that came with each iPhone,
sound was poor at best. Plus wires always were tangled. The power beats pro
come ready to use. There is a hook that goes around the back of your ear, and
yes the tip goes in your ear, but its so soft and comfortable that you barely
notice it is there. If the tip is to large or small, there are 3 other sizes to
choose from in the box. You open the case, and a message appears on your
device asking if you would like to connect. It also gives you the battery
percentage of each ear, as well as the case. In some reviews, they say the
case is to large. It is a big case, but the headset needs room to charge and
not be damaged, especially the hooks, wouldn’t want those to get bent up. So i
understand. Plus, with the way my wife loses her airpods case, because she just
tosses it in her purse, this case being a bit large will benefit her. Music
sounds excellent! Base is balance and not overwhelming. I here sounds and
instruments that I had never heard before in some of my favorite songs. I
listened to some classics. Easy byLionel Richie, en of the road by boys 2 men,
some 2Pac classics, Kieth Sweat, even some New edition favs with some 70 and
60’s mixed in. Hey siri works flawlessly! When using hey siri, I didn’t have
to yell. A quiet voice still prompted siri and she did everything I asked.
Sports scores, wether, battery percentage, even sent my eldest daughter a text.
Dictation no issues at all. And skipping back and forward between songs is
also easy. Both earbuds have the same set of controls, volume up and down, and
the side button used for answering and hanging up calls, and playing music. I
am not even a audio book fan, but can’t wait to listen to some on this pair of
power beats pro. Battery life, all I can say is wow! Apple advertises 9
hours, each ear, and 9 hours is what you get. I tested this at work listening
to music and movies, and it lasted 9 hours 3 minutes. The 2nd time I drained
the battery I got 9 hours 18 minutes. So in this case, you are getting what you
pay for. Even caught myself dancing a few times cause the sound when playing
music sounds so good!
Apple’s own AirPods can’t touch these beats, the battery life alone was
enough to make me want to try them. And the sound quality is 2nd to none. If
someone says there airpods are better then power beats pro, then they haven’t
even tried them.

To wrap this up, this is the best headset I have ever used. They sound
so good, if I had the money all my closest friends and family would have a set,
already ordered my wife some before she steels mine lol. If you buy these, you
will not regret it.

How to Change VO Speed on 6S by Single Digit Increments?

2019-05-21 Thread dani pagador
Hi, Everyone.
I bought a used 128G 6S and got help from my husband re transferring
data from my old phone to the new one. Everything's working well so
far *crossd fingers*. But I can't figure out how to change the VO
speech rate incrementally. It's at 56 percent, and when I flick
up/down, it moves in units of 10. 66 is a little fast, and 46 is a
little slow. I'd like it at about 60. Ideas?

Thhanks,
Dani

Hi Janet, as you said, you don’t know what kind you got. So I will tell you
about mine that I got Sunday. One of the things that confused me at first was
that when I took it out of the box, it was in a cloth and I didn’t know that
you had to slide it out.

It is exactly like an iPhone in that all you have to do is hit what is called
the crown, or basically the button at the front of the watch three times.
Basically, triple tap it. And voiceover should come on.

If you got the cellular version of the watch I don’t know what you would have
to do to pair it if it’s the same as mine. If you didn’t, you can either pair
it to your iPhone manually, or do it by pointing the camera at your phone. I
will leave you with that because I don’t want to give you too much information
and overwhelm you.

Does the headphone go into the ear cannel or does it sit in the outside portion

If you don’t mind me asking, but where did you buy this? I am surprised you
would buy an Apple Watch without knowing which series/generation it is,
hopefully you did some research as to what you bought and I hope it’s not a
used series 2 watch because if it is you will be very disappointed and

I assume that they come with a transmitter? If so, does it hang outside
the ear?

Re: how many iphones can be hooked up to itunes

2019-05-21 Thread Arlene
Hi, Robert, we never had any other devices on itunes. The 3 iphones are on the
same account, but only 2 of the 3 show up. We're new to apple so this account
is 14 months old. Thank you.

I think you should first go to

  www.apple.com

  sign in

make sure you do not have any older devices that you no longer use still
listed on the account.

Are all of these iPhones going to be under the same account?

Emailing web content

2019-05-21 Thread 'ChalmersAS' via VIPhone
Hi All

Recently, when I share a web page by email, instead of always getting the link
followed by the reader view version of the page, I am sometimes just getting
the link. I have an SE and a 5s and I can’t work out if it’s only one or both
of them which is doing this. Also, I can’t work out if it’s only happening when
I am sharing from within Twitterrific, or just from Safari.

On the Mac, as you will be aware, you get various options for how to send web
content. Doesn’t seem to be anything like this in Mail in IOS. If anyone can
tell me where it might be possible to select how web content is sent, I’d be
grateful.

Best and TIA

Adrienne
