Re: viewing iTunes extras using iOS

2019-12-12 Thread Wayne Merritt
You should be able to view the extras for movies with the TV app,
which is now on all iOS devices by default. I purchased the movie Elf
a few years ago, and if I go to TV then the Library tab, I can find
the movie and can then choose between watching the movie or several
different extras/bonus features. Keep in mind, while the movie may be
audio described, the extras probably are not.

Good luck,
Wayne

Question about Bluetooth, hearing aids, and Bluetooth phone set.

2019-12-12 Thread Carolyn
I bought a Bluetooth for my phone that I really like.

In order to get it connected, I turn off my hearing aids and
get in another room; it comes on fine. It does everything it
is supposed to do.

But, now, here is my question. When I get my hearing aids
back on, they pair too. I do not want the hearing aids to
pair, when my Miccus device is paired, but I really need my
hearing aids in order to function.

So, anyone have any idea what to do to keep the hearing aids
from coming on when I turn on the phone one other than going
into Hearing and disconnecting them, then, when I need my
daily tinnitus treatment, I'd have to pair the hearing aids
again, and when treatment through, disconnect again? Surely,
there is a better way. What do you think, please?

Differences in Generations of Apple Watch

2019-12-12 Thread Ekstrand, Pamela A. -ND
All,

I currently have a second generation watch and am looking at possibly
upgrading. Would it be worth considering the 4th generation rather than the
5th if I can get it significantly cheaper, or are there enough improvements
from the 4th to the 5th generation that this would not be a good idea? I am
assuming the 3rd generation would not be enough of an upgrade from the 2nd
generation to warrant purchasing that.

Thanks for any input.

Pam

iCloud - Entering The 2-Factor Authentication Code

2019-12-12 Thread Rob Armstrong
I have received a dialog box on my computer twice in the last couple of days
asking me to sign on to iCloud. After I enter my password, I receive a text
message on my iPhone with an authentication code that I have to enter. I
have done this twice, but the message says that I entered the wrong code. I
am very sure that I entered the correct code from the text message.

I have signed on to iCloud using the 2-factor authentication several times
before. But now it doesn't accept the code I enter.

Any hints what I can do?

Rob

Hi Pam,

The main things the fifth generation watch has that the fourth doesn't are a
built-in compass and the ability to remain on all the time so a sighted person

RE: Differences in Generations of Apple Watch

2019-12-12 Thread territek
Hello Pam,
I am not sure the 4th generation watch is readily available. It was roomered
that Apple was not going to sell the 4th gen after the 5th gen was released.
They did the same with the 2nd generation watch after the 3rd gen was released.
I have been seeing the 3rd gen advertised for $199. longer

Subject: Differences in Generations of Apple Watch

Pam

The forget this device dialog on the iPhone refers to the paired devices
not the phone itself

Blood pressure monitor?

2019-12-12 Thread Ann Byrne

Is there an accurate blood pressure monitor that talks to the iPhone?

We need to replace our old one, and a conversational monitor would be nice.

Re: Blood pressure monitor?

2019-12-12 Thread Kimberly
There is a very good blood pressure monitor called Qardio arm. It is accurate
and works very well with the iPhone. Note the spelling of the word qardio when
you look for the cuffon Amazon.

I hope this is helpful.
